WEST SPRINGFIELD – The Balise Auto Group announced today that it is providing the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Amherst with the free lease of a Lexus for the final two years of the UMass Rising $100 million capital campaign.

Steve Mitus, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Balise, recently presented Mark A. Fuller, dean of the Isenberg School, with the 2014 Lexus ES 350.

The Isenberg School will use the vehicle for development travel and other alumni initiatives. Balise provided the school with the free lease of a  Honda for the initial four years of the campaign.

“Balise has a long history of supporting educational institutions in Western Massachusetts,” Mitus said. “We were delighted to have the opportunity to assist the Isenberg School as it continues to raise funds for its six-year capital campaign. As a graduate of the program, I am particularly pleased to know that when Dean Fuller and the development team hit the road, Balise will be right there with them.”

Fuller reported on the progress of the UMass Rising campaign, “We are making great progress with our fundraising goals, but we could not do it without the continued support of engaged alumni like Steve Mitus. Many thanks to Steve and the Balise Auto Group for their contributions.”
