WEST SPRINGFIELD Richard B. Collins, President and CEO, recently announced that Michael Whitman and Terry Bennett have joined the staff at United Bank. Whitman has joined United as Vice President of Commercial Lending. Whitman is located at United's new East Longmeadow branch at 94 Shaker Rd., and brings with him over 10 years of credit and lending experience. He will be working closely with area businesses to help them with their commercial financing needs. He is an active member within the community, volunteering his time for organizations such as the Chicopee Boys and Girls Club and the Westfield State College Foundation. He and his family reside in East Longmeadow. Bennett has joined United as Administrative Officer bringing with her over 10 years experience most recently as Corporate Secretary of Woronoco Savings Bank. Her responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Bank's President and CFO as well serving as Corporate Secretary for United Financial Bancorp Inc. Bennett is also a graduate of Bay Path College with a Bachelor's of Science in Executive Management. She and her family reside in Westfield. | ||||||
