Berkshire Bank promotes senior managers

PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Bank announced on Aug. 8 the promotion of four senior managers. James Hickson has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, asset based lending; Elizabeth Mineo has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, private banking; Michael Macy has been promoted to vice president, treasurer; and Brian Mooney has been promoted to assistant vice president, product specialist.

Hickson began his career with Berkshire Bank in 2009 as a Vice President, asset based lending. In this role, he works closely with mid-large ABL clients to help them achieve their business goals. Prior to working with Berkshire Bank, he served in a similar capacity with TD Bank, and in total he has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds a B.S. in finance from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Boston University. He resides in Wilbraham, Mass.

Mineo joined Berkshire Bank in 2010 as a First Vice President, private banking. In this role, she works closely with high-income and high net-worth clients to provide a complete array of financial products and services. Before joining Berkshire, Beth worked for TD Bank in a similar role. She manages the private banking professionals who offer an ongoing high-level of personalized, convenient and confidential service and serving as their primary bank contact. She has an extensive banking background and has completed numerous sales and leadership training programs. She resides in West Springfield.

Macy joined Berkshire Bank in 2001 as a financial analyst and has since progressed through various analyst and treasury roles. In his current position, he is responsible for administering the interest rate risk profile of the bank, analyzing balance sheet opportunities, including buying and selling of securities, loans, business lines, and appropriate funding alternatives. Macy holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Virginia. He resides in Sheffield.

Mooney has been with Berkshire Bank for 15 years. In his current role, he coordinates all secondary marketing and product/system development activities, playing an integral role in quality control. He also provides technical guidance to staff and assists with various special projects and business development efforts within retail lending. Mooney holds a B.S. in economics from the State University of New York. He resides in Lee.
