Biking for Charity

Date: 8/19/2008

Youth from the Robert F. Kennedy Children's Action Corps' White Street Group Home in Springfield were recently presented with brand new bicycles that were assembled by Bank of America employees as part of the bank's new recruitment training program. Nearly 100 Bank of America employees worked in teams to assemble 20 bicycles for the local children's charity. The bank also hosted a pizza party and bike safety lesson for the young cyclists. Bank of America donated a total of nearly $1,500 in bicycles, helmets and bike locks to make the event a success.
