Capt. Mike Duclos to address Rotary Club

Capt. Mike Duclos to address next Rotary Club luncheon meeting

Captain Mike Duclos of Tiderunner Charter and Guide Services will address the Springfield Rotary Club's luncheon meeting on Aug. 22. His topic will be "Saltwater Fly and Light Tackle Fishing What Fun."

Duclos has always enjoyed the outdoors, especially the ocean and fished Long Island Sound since 1981. He obtained his captain's license and in 2007 established Tiderunner Charter and Guide Services. He uses his years of experience on the ocean to guide fishermen and women.

Duclos was on the Board of Directors of the Quaboag Hills Chamber of Commerce for six years and served as Chair of the Board of 2003. For the past 25 years, he and his wife, Kris, have owned and operated NEVR Inc., a small privately-owned filing systems dealership in Monson. They sell everything from color-coded labels to high density movable shelving systems to the medical, financial and legal industries throughout New England and across the country.

The Springfield Rotary Club meets every Friday at 12:15 p.m. in the Mass Mutual Room at the Basketball Hall of Fame, West Columbus Avenue, Springfield, and is a proud member of Rotary International. The Rotary luncheon, with guest speaker Mike Duclos, is $17 per person and is open to the public.
