Taylor to speak at Regional Technology Corporation's next CEO breakfast series

SPRINGFIELD Recognized innovator and visionary, Jeffrey C. Taylor., will be the guest speaker at the Regional Technology Corporation's (RTC) next CEO breakfast series, which is designed to promote peer-to-peer dialogue for regional executives. This event is sponsored by Thomson Broadcast and Multimedia of Southwick.

This event being held 7:30-9:00 a.m. on Oct. 6, will take place at the Colony Club in downtown Springfield.

Taylor's "monster idea" became the leading online career site we all know as Monster.com. Taylor left Monster in August 2005 to pursue a new unprecedented venture, Eons, Inc., www.eons.com, targeting people 50+, and now serves as Eons' CEO and founder.

At Monster, Taylor's mantra was, "It's half about a better job, and half about a better life." With the jobs aspect fulfilled, Taylor is now focused on helping people enjoy a "better life." As momentum began to build around the baby boomer exit from the labor force, Taylor, an entrepreneur at heart, was inspired by the massive post-retirement opportunities and started Eons with the mission to inspire boomers and seniors to live the biggest life possible. Taylor's new mantra is "Let's live to be 100 or die trying."

Taylor is a frequent speaker at colleges and universities across the country and serves as an expert at technology, advertising and human capital conferences. Taylor co-authored the book, "Monster Careers," which hit bookstores nationwide in April 2004 and offers job seekers a step-by-step plan for finding the job of their dreams.
