| Donate to a charity you know. Help make a difference by donating your vehicle (car, truck, motorcycle or boat) to the American Lung Association. You can see your donation revenue being put to work all through the state in the American Lung Association's program on asthma and tobacco education, smoking cessation programs, lung disease research and our advocacy work toward cleaner air. "This is a wonderful program; not only does it remove old or unwanted vehicles free of charge, it also allows people a tax deduction and provides necessary funding to Massachusetts residents with lung disease," said Jeffrey Seyler, CEO at the American Lung Association of Massachusetts. Your donated vehicle can be sold in any condition. Working cars are sold at a reasonable cost, and non-working cars are sold for parts, or for scrap medal; so do not be discouraged thinking that your vehicle will not be accepted.
