Dot Lortie's 40 years as a realtor were recently celebrated by Mayor Domemic Sarno of Springfield when he declared May 17 as "Dot Lortie Day" for her numerous community activities. "She is absolutely amazing," Art Ferrara, Vice President of Landmark Realtors, said. "One of the best things that ever happened to our company was when Dot chose to team up with us in 2002. She is as vibrant now as when I first met her nearly 20 years ago," he continued. Lortie founded Dot Lortie Realty, a Springfield-based company and when she decided to focus primarily on sales and less on company management she merged her company with Landmark. "She continues to be a leader in the real estate market," Stu Fuller, Landmark's president, said, "and we couldn't be more pleased!" Landmark presented Lortie with a mantle clock in appreciation.
