Faginski and Pelkey both promoted to vice president

SPRINGFIELD Paul J. Valickus, chairman, chief strategist of D.J. St. Germain Investment Management Co. Inc., announces the promotion of Patricia Faginski to vice president.

As Vice President of Client Services, she is the lead professional assisting clients who have questions about their accounts, investment objectives, diversification and other matters relevant to financial planning. Faginski has an extensive educational and business background, including day-to-day experience in portfolio administration. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Westfield State College, an associate's degree from Holyoke Community College and is attended the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School at the University of North Carolina to earn a Trust I certificate.

Faginski has the NASD Series 7 designation for securities representatives and investment advisors.

With over 15 years of business management experience, she previously served as a Trust Associate in the Trust, Investment and Financial Services Division of Woronoco Savings Bank, providing account administration, tax reporting, client account reviews and new business development.

Valickus also announces the promotion of Elizabeth M. Pelkey to vice president.

For the past five years, Pelkey has been involved in operations and customer relationship management responsibilities at St. Germain. Prior to her work in the financial and wealth management sector, Pelkey worked in air freight domestic and international for several years. Her client service responsibilities covered several areas including sales, critical path throughputs, fulfillment, transportation and logistics.

Pelkey coordinates various information flows between account managers, clients and the St. Germain portfolio managers. She also oversees details with deposits, transfers and IRA distributions.

She holds pro-fessional certifications in transportation and logistics from Holyoke Community College and also attends professional con-ferences and work-shops specific to financial planning and wealth management information services.
