SPRINGFIELD The Advertising Club of Western Massachusetts will present a seminar titled "Green: The Real Grass Roots Marketing" during the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield's Business Market Show on May 13 from 2 to 2:45 p.m. at the MassMutual Center, 1277 Main St., Springfield. The Business Market Show, billed as the region's largest business to business trade show, takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Everyone is invited to join the Ad Club for this free business seminar, presented by Karen Ribeiro, the director of ener-G-save, a program of the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation. Ribeiro will identify and explain eco-opportunities, share success stories of Pioneer Valley companies distinguishing their brand with "green" marketing and provide tips and techniques for growing a company's grass roots marketing.

"So many companies enhance their market position by building a strong image around sustainability and green initiatives," Alta J. Stark, president, Advertising Club of Western Massachusetts, said. "This is a chance to hear who's distinguishing their brand in the Pioneer Valley, and find out how you can grow your own grass roots marketing."
