Friendly’s promotes several to new positions

WILBRAHAM – Friendly Ice Cream Corp. recently announced several promotions.

Lance Forgit will now be the senior director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). Lance has been with Friendly’s for 20 years and during that time he has been a strong performer in the finance team. Recently, Forgit has taken on full responsibility for the FP&A function and is recognized for providing key insights into the organization that assist decision making in both businesses, restaurants and retail.

Sylvia Becker will now be the director of Field Marketing and Media. Becker has been a strong contributor to the business since her arrival in 2013 while being responsible for the planning and execution of all marketing communications and media spend for restaurants. She has been instrumental in facilitating the new sports sponsorships with the Patriots and the Bruins, as well as taking on new responsibilities with digital marketing and the BFF program.

Kyle Hauser was promoted to director of Purchasing. Hauser has worked in many areas of Friendly’s during her tenure including real estate, accounting retails and most recently purchasing. Hauser is a proven problem solver who is constantly looking to improve process and outcomes for the organization.

Carol Noga is now the senior financial manager responsible for financial systems including cash flow, payroll, and accounts payable. She has been an integral member of the finance team during her tenure at Friendly’s and will have the opportunity to use her skills and experience in this expanded role.

Matt Vitorino will now be the senior manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. Vitorino has provided expert analysis and demonstrates a sound thought process in analyzing business problems and making solution recommendations. In addition, to his core responsibilities, he continues to unselfishly provide support and guidance to others who need skillful Excel instruction to execute company initiatives.

Stephen Kloss is now performing the role of primary menu developer in restaurants as the executive chef. Kloss has brought creativity to this role along with a keen understanding of how to execute effectively within the marketing team as well as the restaurant organization.

Deanna Bourassa has taken on responsibilities as the manager of Real Estate Services. In this role, she will be responsible for managing the lease option and renewal process, lease administration, property tax administration and business license renewal. Bourassa and her team continue to provide a high level of customer service to the field and franchise community.
