Golden chosen for event

SPRINGFIELD Josephine Golden of Springfield was selected to attend the third annual Dress for Success Professional Women's Group Success Summit as the delegate representing Dress for Success Western Massachusetts Affiliate. The three-day success summit took place in Washington, D.C. from July 13 - 15. Golden was joined by fellow delegates from 34 other Dress for Success affiliates from the United States and Canada.

Golden was selected by the local Dress for Success Professional Women's Group (PWG), an international networking association for women who have recently entered the workplace, based on her demonstrated leadership skills, commitment to the PWG and potential to lead the group in a community action project.

Dress for Success has 50 PWG programs in the U.S. and Canada and celebrated its 10,000th PWG member at the Success Summit.

At the Success Summit, Golden participated in seminars and interactive sessions designed to further develop and enhance her leadership skills. Topics addressed included: Successful Women and Their Secrets to Success, Leadership, Financial Success, the Importance of Networking and others. Golden also shared best practices with fellow delegates to help other women achieve success in the workplace and in their respective communities.

"Every woman in the Summit is a link to the chain, or the key to a brighter future in the sisterhood known as PWG and represents bigger and better advancements for women all over the world," Golden said.
