Hampden Bank receives prestigious Telly Award for TV commercial

SPRINGFIELD Hampden Bank's internal marketing department together with Penfield Productions of Agawam were recently honored for their creative efforts in the production the bank's latest television commercial entitled "Brighter Days." The 30 second TV spot was recently presented a prestigious Telly Award in the 2009 national competition. It was selected over hundreds of locally produced commercials throughout the country.

The commercial was created specifically to brand the bank and reinforce its "What can we do to brighten your day?" theme.

According to Rick DeBonis, senior vice president of marketing and creative director for Hampden Bank, "Being one of the few in-house advertising agencies in the area, and in particular in banking industry, we are extremely proud of this award. This was truly a collaborative effort and much praise goes to Penfield Productions for bringing our ideas and words to life in a simple, compelling and effective way."

DeBonis worked closely with director/photographer John Shanahan; editor Mike Ryczek; and graphic artist Mike Noes to create this award winning commercial.
