Hebert joins Monson Savings Bank as V.P., loan officer

MONSON — Monson Savings Bank has announced that Jaimye R.K. Hebert has joined the bank as vice president and commercial loan officer.

Formerly vice president at Peoples United Bank, Hebert brings more than 10 years of commercial lending experience to her position at Monson Savings, including managing all aspects of a commercial loan portfolio in excess of $80 million.

“We are thrilled to have Jaimye join our team,” Steve Lowell, president of Monson Savings Bank, said. “She brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of traditional commercial lending and Small Business Adminis-tration programs along with a knowledgeable and creative outlook on business development, and a passion for customer service. She will be a tremendous asset to our customers.”

Hebert also shares Monson Savings’ community banking values and has a long list of community involvement activities including youth soccer, community theater, the United Way of the Pioneer Valley, the American Cancer Society, Credit for Life, the Town of Monson 250th Anniversary Steering Committee and serving on the Board of Directors of the Springfield Technical Community College Foundation. She also has the distinction of being a member of Business West’s 2011 class of 40 Under Forty.

Hebert attended Western New England University and Springfield Technical Community College, graduating from both institutions with honors. She holds diplomas in commercial lending, consumer lending, residential lending, bank operations, and general banking from the Center for Financial Training of Southern New England/American Bankers Institute.

Hebert resides in Monson with her husband and three children.
