'Kid Stuff' fun for children and parents

SPRINGFIELD "The best proposed project in the neighborhood in 10 years!"

That was the response to the June 5 presentation of the plan to open "Kid Stuff," a family entertainment center on Allen Street in August. The Outer Belt Civic Association enthusiastically received the plan and unanimously gave their support to the development of the 14,000 square foot facility soon to be open at the Bicentennial Plaza in Springfield.

"Kid Stuff" promises to be a healthy, safe, state-of-the art and secure multi-play facility for families to come and have fun, enjoy time together, and experience Laser Tag and arcade games. Birthday parties become events at "Kid Stuff" with party planners to make them memorable. And "Kid Stuff" will be parent-friendly! A place where children play while mom or dad connect to the Internet, have a coffee and a healthy salad, wrap or dessert. "Kid Stuff" will also offer "Kid Stuff-Cares," a program for parents to utilize child-care services so they can attend to appointments and errands.

"Kid Stuff" at Bicentennial Plaza will blend well with the philosophy and character of its neighbor tenants including Better Life Whole Foods, The Kid's Clubhouse, moving to "Kid Stuff" to be included in the new space, and Lysak's Family Martial Arts and Fitness, also joining Bicentennial Plaza in August.

"Kid Stuff" will open in August with a staff of experienced professionals; its General Manager Mike MacLeod and Party Manager Alison Rex, are both formerly of Kidsports in Hadley, MA. "Kid Stuff" will also include "Healthy Food-Fast" salads, wraps, snacks and refreshments of natural and organic ingredients.

"Kid Stuff" will bring Springfield a positive family-fun environment, convenient to East Longmeadow, Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Hampden and Somers, CT at 1504 Allen Street. The Mission Statement of Kid Stuff is "to provide the families of our community with a safe, fun, healthy and entertaining environment to play, party, learn and grow." Kid Stuff will continue to post news on its opening at www.KidStuffSpringfield.com.
