Larose named new FCU Ludlow branch manager

LUDLOW – Barry F. Crosby, president and CEO of Freedom Credit Union, announced the appointment of Stacey A. Larose as the branch officer of the credit union's new Ludlow Branch.

Larose oversees the financial and lending operations of the branch, develops new business opportunities with individuals and businesses, and promotes financial literacy at area schools.

Larose, a resident of Agawam, has more than 11 years of banking experience and most recently, she was the branch operations manager at Country Bank's Palmer branch.

The Ludlow Branch opened on Sept. 24 and hosted a public Grand Opening on Nov. 3. The branch is located at 645 Center St.

Freedom Credit Union was originally chartered in 1922 as the Western Massachusetts Telephone Workers Credit Union. Freedom has experienced tremendous growth as membership has been expanded to include anyone who lives or works in Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Berkshire counties.

Freedom Credit Union now consists of nine convenient branches throughout the Pioneer Valley in Ludlow, Chicopee, Easthampton, Feeding Hills, Greenfield, Northampton, Sixteen Acres, Springfield, and Turners Falls.
