Local litigators named to ‘Best Lawyers in America’ list

SPRINGFIELD — The following lawyers from area law firm Bulkley, Richardson and Gelinas, LLP (Bulkley Richardson) have been selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2012.

Michael H. Burke of Longmeadow has been recognized in the areas of Medical Malpractice Law (defendants) and Personal Injury Litigation (defendants), Burke and has been listed in Best Lawyers for more than 10 years.

Mark D. Cress of Longmeadow was recognized in the areas of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law, and Corporate Law. Cress has been listed in Best Lawyers for 10 years.

Francis D. Dibble Jr. of Longmeadow was recognized in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Litigation (Antitrust – Criminal and Civil, Labor and Employment, Securities). Dibble has been listed in Best Lawyers for 20 years.

In addition to being recognized in the area of Litigation (Construction), Daniel J. Finnegan of Wilbraham is one of only four lawyers in the state selected in the area of Administrative/Regulatory Law.

David A. Parke of Wilbraham was recognized in the area of Corporate Law. Parke has been listed in Best Lawyers for 10 years.

Ellen M. Randle of East Longmeadow was recognized in the area of Family Law.

Ronald P. Weiss of Longmeadow was recognized in the areas of Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions Law, and Tax Law. He has been listed in Best Lawyers for 20 years.

Robert A. Gelinas of South Hadley was recognized in the area of Personal Injury Litigation (defendants), has been listed for 20 years in Best Lawyers.

Melinda M. Phelps of Springfield has been recognized in the areas of Medical Malpractice Law (defendants) and Personal Injury Litigation (defendants).

In total, 10 Bulkley Richardson lawyers have been selected for inclusion, the most from any law firm in Springfield. Based on the number of lawyers in the region listed in Best Lawyers 2012, Bulkley Richardson is top listed in Springfield in 14 practice areas.
