Market Mentors adds Shrair

WEST SPRINGFIELD – Michelle Abdow, president of Market Mentors, LLC, is proud to announce that Jon Shrair has joined the firm as director of Business Development.

A former executive at several prominent advertising agencies in New York City, Shrair brings more than 25 years of experience in consumer and business-to-business communications to Market Mentors.

"Jon comes to us with an amazing amount of experience and talent," Abdow said. "He is the definition of a leader: passionate, tenacious, diplomatic, and a creative thinker. Originally from Massachusetts, Jon spent many years in Boston where he attended BU's College of Communications and did his first work at Arnold & Company before moving to New York City where he spent the bulk of his career. Jon is now looking forward to bringing relevant business-building ideas to clients of our firm."

For his part, Shrair is pleased to be working with one of the most rapidly-growing agencies in his home state. "I was immediately intrigued by Michelle and her commitment to the agency and its clients. Over the course of his career, Shrair worked for such creative agencies as Chiat/Day and Margeotes, Fertitta and Partners where he was responsible for the success, development and management of high profile accounts in regional and national markets such as: New York Life Insurance Company, NYNEX Yellow Pages, The Boston Company, National Car Rental, CNA Insurance, the National Football League, The McGraw-Hill Companies, and MediaOne to name a few.

Shrair has also done a significant amount of work in the non-profit area for such important organizations as The Anti-Defamation League for which he received a Distinguished Community Service Award and the Partnership for a Drug-Free America.

In his role as director of Business Development, Shrair will help introduce new clients to the firm and provide guidance to the teams serving existing clients. He will also be involved in project management and contribute to the creative process at Market Mentors.
