Within the sea of "box [retail] stores," like Lowe's and Home Depot, President of Martin's Floor Covering Inc., Martin Malinowski said he is bringing his 35 years of business experience and sales expertise to provide customers with the best resources possible when choosing products that will remain in their homes for generations. Malinowski said that like their location on Southampton Road in Westfield, the Agawam location features some of their best floor coverings and educated sales people that will take "hours" of their time to help a single customer. Malinowski noted the importance of quality installations as well. He said that at box stores customers are "taking their chances" with their installers but at Martin's he wants to "make certain that everything is done right." He said that each of their installers must have a minimum of eight years experience and he or his son supervise every installation. Malinowski said that even after each installation has been made customers are contacted within a week to make sure they are satisfied with the product and telephoned subsequently three months, six months and one year thereafter.
