McQuade joins Berkshire Bank

PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Bank welcomed Sheryl L. McQuade as senior vice president, commercial regional leader, for the Hartford-Springfield market.

With more than 25 years of business banking experience, McQuade will assume leadership of the regions' lending teams, providing strategic direction as the teams work with business customers to help them achieve their financial goals.

She will also work to expand and establish customer relationships throughout all lines of business including lending, depository, insurance and wealth management. As a regional leader, McQuade will be actively involved in continuing Berkshire Bank's commitment to the communities and constituencies served in these two markets.

Prior to joining Berkshire Bank, McQuade spent the majority of her banking career with Bank of America where she served in various areas of commercial banking including business banking and middle market. Her titles have included senior vice president, market manager and senior market credit officer. During her tenure, she managed the greater Hartford, New Haven, Conn., and Springfield markets.

McQuade has an MBA from Western New England University and bachelor's of science in finance from Lehigh University.

She serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Hartford, Conn., YMCA, Hartford Economic Development Corporation, Westmass Area Development Corporation and is a past director of Common Capital. She also volunteers with Junior Achievement, the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and the American Cancer Society.

McQuade resides in Wilbraham and will be relocating to Connecticut.
