PVPC names Foxmyn regional services manager

April 23, 2012SPRINGFIELD — Wendy Foxmyn of Northampton recently joined the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) as manager of Regional Services and Innovations. In this position, she will assist the region's communities by providing municipal technical assistance and working with them to enhance regional collaboration, operational efficiencies, and service delivery.
Foxmyn has more than 30 years of experience in local and regional government as a town administrator, interim town administrator, and other appointed and elected positions in Western Massachusetts. In addition, she has provided consulting services to municipalities, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and small businesses.
Regional Services and Innovations represents a new initiative for PVPC, created in response to a series of state policies and programs encouraging and incentivizing municipalities and schools to pursue collaboration and regionalization opportunities.
