Reminder Publications just returned from the Independent Free Papers of America Conference in Chicago. The judging for this year's IFPA Ad & Editorial Awards was completed by Western New England College. The judging panel was made up of (in no particular order) Brenda Garton, Department of Communications, Brian Zelasko, communications/journalism instructor, Dave Stawasz, media relations director and Matthew Caron, new media producer for WWLP TV22 and senior at WNEC. There were 986 entries submitted by 98 community newspapers across the U.S. and Canada.
