This is the subject of the SCORE workshop "Building Your Non-Profit Future by Building Your Capacity!" This SCORE workshop will be held on Sept.21 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Scibelli Enterprise Center, One Federal Street, Springfield, across from the STCC Campus. For additional attendees from the same organization, the fee is $. Pre-registration is required. The workshop facilitator, Dave Wentworth, is a successful businessman and a SCORE counselor. Wentworth has developed and presented a number of well rated SCORE workshops, covering both non-profit and for profit small business topics. He provides counseling for many of SCORE's non-profit clients. Wentworth's business experience includes senior management responsibilities with major companies as CEO and in sales, product management and consulting. Topics covered include capacity building prerequisites, the strategies involved, planning techniques, skill requirements and implementation considerations. The last hour will be devoted to an exchange of ideas and round table discussion. Your entire management team can benefit by sharing in this educational and idea sharing opportunity. Much of the content of this workshop was developed by the national SCORE organization under a Kellogg Foundation Grant.
