SPRINGFIELD – Mark W. Teed, principal of Teed Capital Management of Raymond James, has joined Raymond James as senior vice president, Investments.

Teed is an investment advisor with more than $225 million in client assets under management and a registered broker in 23 U.S. states and territories. He has over three decades worth of financial services experience, with the last 25 years spent in investment management.

"Mark's approach to portfolio management is simple – he keeps his clients informed about changes in the market and the opportunities they provide," David Varela, complex manager at Raymond James in Springfield, said. "His approach to investment success is much more complicated. Timely data and robust analytics provide him with the ability to spot opportunities quickly, but it is his experience that truly gives his clients an edge."

A resident of Longmeadow, Teed began his career at A.G. Edwards & Sons, and then stayed on when the firm became Wachovia in 2007. The following year the company became Wells Fargo & Company. Currently, he is a regular commentator for television news on market and investment trends.
