Tighe & Bond promotes 10 outstanding employees

SPRINGFIELD – Last month, Tighe & Bond promoted 10 employees who have demonstrated exceptional performance, client service and leadership. This includes four who have been promoted to Associate.

Tracy Adamski, AICP is a senior planner who joined Tighe & Bond in 2001 as the company's first planner, and works out of the firm's Westfield office. Her planning expertise is well integrated into regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, land use planning, grant writing, and public outreach. Adamski's experience covers a wide breadth of land use planning including smart growth techniques, by-law development, energy resources, brownfields, wetlands and environmental resources, stormwater, wastewater, and infrastructure planning.

A resident of Northampton, she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and has 18 years of professional planning experience.

Chuck Croce, P.E., a project manager who joined Tighe & Bond in 2008, has more than 18 years of experience in site/civil and site/utility engineering on a wide variety of education, private, and municipal projects. He excels at providing clients with efficient, cost effective, and creative designs.

Working primarily out of the firm's Middletown, Conn., office, he is also the firm's education market champion, and has a proven track record in successful business development. He has provided numerous services for notable clients such as Yale University, the University of Connecticut, and Wesleyan University.

A resident of West Hartford, Conn., Croce graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, and is a licensed professional engineer.

Nancy Milkey, P.G., LSP, R.B.P. is a project manager in the Westfield office who joined Tighe & Bond in 1996. A Licensed Site Professional (LSP), she is an expert in brownfields and environmental remediation, and has managed 11 major EPA brownfields projects, as well as dozens of privately funded brownfields investigations.

Milkey earned her Bachelor of Science in wildlife biology and her Master of Science in hydrogeology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and has more than 19 years of professional experience. She is also the firm's Environmental Technical Practice Leader and a frequent presenter at technical conferences.

Dan Rukakoski, PWS, CWS, PSS is a senior environmental scientist with more than 18 years of experience who has been with Tighe & Bond since 2006, and manages the firm's Wetland and Ecological Services Group.

In addition to being a Professional Wetland Scientist, he is a Professional Soil Scientist recognized by the Society of Soil Scientists of Southern New England, and a New Hampshire Certified Wetlands Scientist.

He also is a board member of the Connecticut Corporate Wetlands Restoration Partnership. Rukakoski earned his Bachelor of Science in natural resources management and engineering from the University of Connecticut, and is an expert in linear utility projects. His expertise has also helped Tighe & Bond gain recognition as an expert in dam removal and fisheries passage projects.

In addition to these new Associates, Tighe & Bond promoted six other staff into the firm's Stock Ownership Program: Lavalier Alves, CMA, CFM; Jackie Caceci, P.E., LEED AP; George Kansas, P.E.; Tiffany Labrie, P.E.; and April Lassard – all from the Westfield, office. The promotion also includes Patrick Crimmins, P.E., from the firm's Portsmouth, N.H., office.
