Trudeau promoted

AGAWAM — The Insurance Center of New England (ICNE), recently announced that William O. Trudeau, of Wilbraham, has been promoted to the position of president and chief executive officer of the full-service insurance agency. Current president, Dean M. Florian, has assumed the role of chairman of the Board of Directors of ICNE.

Trudeau has been at ICNE since 1990, serving the last six years as chief operating officer.

A 1990 graduate of the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Trudeau is holder of the professional designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), AFSB, and AAI. He is a Licensed Insurance Advisor in Massachusetts.

Trudeau is past chairman and current board member of the Pioneer Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, board member of The Springfield Techinical Community College Foundation, board member of Hilltop Services Inc., and serves on the American Cancer Society Gala Committee

He is also a guest lecturer on insurance at Western New England University's Law School, and serves on agent advisory councils of both the Hanover and Arbella Mutual Insurance companies.

Trudeau lives in Wilbraham with his wife Tammy and two children.
