EX-OFFENDERS JOB FAIR

The second annual Community Ex-Offender Career Opportunity Fair will be held on Mar. 13 from 9 a.m-1 p.m. at Scibelli Hall, the Springfield Technical Community College gymnasium, 1 Armory Square in Springfield. All ex-offenders living in the community are invited to come to meet employers, and find out about job opportunities. Ex-offenders are urged to bring a resume or portfolio, but they will be welcome without one. Ex-offenders are also asked to come dressed for an interview. The Fair is free of cost and no pre-registration is necessary. Anyone wanting further info, or wishing to help with interviewing skills or resumes before the Career Fair, is asked to call the Hampden County Sheriff's Department After Incarceration Support System program at 733-5469, X205. If it snows heavily on Mar. 13, forcing cancellation of the Fair, it will be held on Mar. 15, same time, same place.
