Raczkowski named to Board of Directors of CHPA

Adam D. Raczkowski of W.F. Young Inc. in East Longmeadow, international marketers of the Absorbine Jr. line of consumer health care products and the Absorbine line of equine health care products, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association. The CHPA is a national trade organization representing manufacturers and distributors of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements. The mission of the CHPA and its members is to seek a constantly improving system of responsible self-medication so Americans can more fully participate in their own healthcare. CHPA is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
Raczkowski currently holds the titles of Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of W.F. Young Inc., a 116-year-old company. He joined the company in 1992 and has worked in many areas of the company, including finance, operations, sales and marketing. Prior to coming to W.F. Young Inc., he was with GTE, Gillette, Morse Shoe Inc. and Allied Printing Company.
He serves on the board locally of the Springfield Homeless Employment and Training Committee and is the treasurer of the East Longmeadow Educational Endowment Fund. He has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, working hands-on at local building sites.
