Beginners Italian classes start March 1

SPRINGFIELD — The next session of Italiano per Ragazzi Italian for beginners classes for children will begin on March 12 and run for five weeks, through April 9, at the Italian Cultural Center, 56 Margaret St. Classes will take place on Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. for Ragazzi I.

Italiano per Ragazzi II will meet on Saturdays from 10:05 to 11:05 a.m. At least two prior sessions of beginner I are required before taking this class.

Tuition is $10 for children whose parents have a family membership and $20 for children of non-member families. The class is offered to children 6 to12 years old.

Registration for all classes will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.

To register for classes, call the Italian Cultural Center of Western Mass, Inc. at 784-1492. Leave name, phone number and desired class. There will be a return call to confirm registration.
