Bowling program designed for children with special needs

The Springfield Jewish Community Center is offering after-school bowling for special needs children at Shaker Bowl Tuesdays, 4 - 5:30 p.m., Nov. 27 - Dec. 18.

The JCC offers programs for children ages five - 12 with cognitive and developmental delays, Down Syndrome and autism spectrum disorders. All classes are designed to enhance the social, emotional and physical skills of our participants. The bowling program provides a 2:1 child/staff ratio, with a maximum of 8 participants.
