CONGRATULATIONS, DANCERS!

It's that most wonderful time of the year, and for a ballet dancer, that means you've auditioned for and received a part in a production of "The Nutcracker," a seasonal favorite. Four dancers from the Mary Ann Studio of Dance participated in local Nutcracker productions this year.

On Dec. 15, the Albany-Berkshire Ballet presented two Nutcracker performance in Springfield's Symphony Hall. Mary Ann dancer Brittney Cote was cast in the role of a mini-mouse, Natilie Koziol was one of the party children and Gillian Keenan was an angel. All three girls were part of this production last year and were eager to be a part of the production again this year.

Mary Ann dancer Anna Marie Gregory (pictured above) was also part of an area Nutcracker production. Gregory will be playing the part of a mini-mouse when the Moscow Ballet takes the stage at the U/Mass Fine Arts Center on Dec. 17.

The Mary Ann Studio of Dance is very proud of these young dancers who have dedicated extra time to learn their part to be a part of the holiday Nutcracker tradition.
