Gernux Performs in Dance Concert

Amy Gernux, a freshman at Connecticut College, performed in the Dance Department's Fall Concert Dec. 11 and 12 in the college's Myers Dance Studio.

The concert featured more than 40 dancers performing choreographed works by Connecticut College dance professors Shani Collins, David Dorfman, Heidi Henderson and Adele Myers and student-choreographed works by seniors Lily Ockwell and Liz Young. Gernux, a 2009 graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School, is the daughter of Joanne and David Gernux of Hampden.
