KidsFest kickoff

The Agawam Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that Vics and Sticks will kick off the 2010 KidsFest on July 7 in Agawam.

Vic and Sticks is husband and wife team Vicki and Rick Ethier, bringing songs from "the comic side of life!" With Vicki on her trusty ukulele and Rick on antique washboard and suitcase percussion, their unique Vic and Sticks songs are performed with a vintage and vaudeville recycled rhythm beat!

This fast paced music/family show, which is great for fairs, festivals, summer concerts, school assemblies, summer camps and library programs, encourages audience participation as the children in the audience become part of the Vic and Sticks "Recycled Rhythm" Band.

All KidsFest shows will begin at 11 a.m. on Veteran's Green, 689 Main St., Agawam. In case of rain, the event will be canceled.
