| DJST to host a socks collection for Open Pantry Keep Springfield's feet warm this winter by dropping off new pairs of adult socks to the Springfield Jewish Community Center, 1160 Dickinson Street in Springfield. This project is led by "Don't Just Sit There" (DJST), the JCC teen community service group made up of 40 high schoolers from 8 different high schools trying to make a difference in the community. DJST will donate the socks to Open Pantry's "Loaves and Fishes" soup kitchen, the Springfield Rescue Mission, and other Springfield residents in need. Donation boxes will be available in the lobby and game room at the JCC Oct. 16 - Nov. 1.
