The Springfield Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management announces registrations are now being taken for its 2009 "On The Wilder Side" summer program, which is located at the former Camp Wilder grounds on Parker Street in Sixteen Acres.

"On The Wilder Side," a unique outdoor adventure program offered in partnership with Next Level Adventures, will run in four sessions this summer for children ages eight to 15. Session I is June 29 through July 3, Session II is July 6 through 10, Session III is July 27 through 31 and Session IV is Aug. 3 through 7. The program meets from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. There is a per session fee of $200 for city residents, and a $225 fee for out of city residents. Lunch will be provided for all participants.
