| The Springfield Public Schools are hosting a Teacher Recruitment Job Fair on April 5 at the Meline Kasparian Professional Development Center from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. The main objective of the SPS Teacher Recruitment Job fair is to attract and hire well-trained and highly qualified candidates for teacher education, four-year college graduates, graduate students and alumni interested in careers in education. The SPS Teacher Recruitment Job Fair is an excellent opportunity to both network and interview for teaching positions within the district. Candidates will have the opportunity to meet outstanding teachers, program directors, principals and human resources staff to share information and to discuss employment opportunities in schools. Participants will also get a chance to learn more about professional development offerings which include the Licensure Mentor Program, New Teacher Mentor Program and DOE approved, cost-free district-based licensure programs. |
