Storrs Library to host five-week kid program

LONGMEADOW " A five-week series of children s programming will begin March 30, at the Storrs Library, 693 Longmeadow St.

Walk-in registration for the literacy programming will take place on March 23 at 10 a.m. The programs are planned to meet the needs of children who are between the ages of 24 months to six years. Two Kinder Kids sessions will take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. in the afternoon for children who are four and a half to six years of age. Both will begin on March 31 and continue until May 5.

There will also be two separate Storytime sessions on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. and Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. for children who are three years, one month to four years, six months of age. The Thursday early literacy programs will begin April 2, and continue until May 7. Sessions are limited to 20 children each.

Registrations by phone will be accepted after 11 a.m. for all programs. Children living outside the town of Longmeadow may register March 24 after 10 a.m.
