Unforgettable night of music to raise American spirits

CHICOPEE - An unforgettable evening of free musical entertainment is sure to raise the American spirit as the United States Air Force Band of Liberty is set to perform in Chicopee.

The outstanding group of professional musicians, based at Hanscom Air Force Base, is currently on tour throughout the New England, New York and New Jersey regions, and brings an exciting program highlighting America's musical diversity and cultural heritage to the Pioneer Valley area.

"We are thrilled to have this extraordinary collection of musicians," Bruce Marshall, member of the Board of Directors, said. "We are very lucky to get the entire band for this concert at Szot Park and we expect that anyone attending will be delighted with their tremendous performance!"

The event, sponsored by the Pioneer Valley USO, is open to the public and runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 3 at Szot Park. Rain location is at Bellamy School, 314 Pendleton St.

No matter the musical taste of the audience, from the classics to pop, from Broadway to swing, this talented group of musicians will certainly delight and entertain. With a mix of dazzling vocalists and instrumental soloists, this is a once-in-a-lifetime show couples and families won't want to miss. A celebration suitable for the entire family, this performance is a high-energy extravaganza guaranteed to leave attendees on the edge of their seats.

Those attending are asked to bring their own lawn chairs for a comfortable concert experience.
