WCSU to host Joe Namath and John Dockery Instructional Football Camp

DANBURY, Conn. – Western Connecticut State University will host the 42nd annual Joe Namath and John Dockery Instructional Football Camp from July 14 to 19.

The clinic is geared for boys ages 8 to 18. Tuition costs $795 for overnight campers and $495 for day-campers. A $95 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of application. Full tuition payment is due by June 28.

On July 14, campers can choose to participate in a weight training, speed development, or quarterback clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. An additional $75 fee is required.

Participants will be treated to guest appearances from National Football League players and Former New York Jets players. Topics such as injury prevention and nutritional guidance will be covered.

Campers must bring their own shoulder pads, helmet, chinstrap, pants, pads, cleats, mouthpieces, cup and athletic supporter. A limited amount of equipment is available for a rental fee of $70.
