SOUTH HADLEY-Members of the South Hadley Community Theater will soon bring two children's productions to life on the outdoor stage at Buttery Brook Park.

"Stuart Little" will be performed Aug. 2 while a "Fairy Tale Courtroom" will be staged Sept. 9. Both hour-long performances begin at 10 a.m. with a rain date being the following day.

"Stuart Little" is the tale of one small mouse living in New York City who finds himself on one big adventure when his best friend Margalo, a little bird, disappears from her nest. Stuart is determined to track her down. Though he's shy, Stuart also loves adventure and finds plenty of it when he embarks on a journey to find Margalo.

"Fairy Tale Courtroom" features the Big Bad Wolf and the Wicked Witch who are brought to trial from having frolicked from fairy tale to fairy tale wrecking havoc on the general public. As each trial unfolds, characters including Snow White, Dorothy, Sleeping Beauty, the Three Pigs, and Little Red Riding Hood step forward to provide their personal accounts of what happened in each case. The audience will serve as the jury so each trial has two endings depending on the verdict.

Families are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy the performances.

General admission is $5 per person with children age two and younger admitted free. A parking fee of $2 per carload will be collected at the gate.

Group discount tickets are 11 to 20 tickets, $4 each, and for more than 21 tickets purchased, $3 each.
