Library announces November programs and events

GRANBY The Granby Public Library has announced several events and programs for the month of November. The Granby Public Library invites you to read "The Divide" by Nicholas Evans and meet with us for our monthly Book Circle on Nov. 16 at 6pm. Share in this extraordinary tale about the yearnings, hope and disillusionment of men and women. New members are always welcome. For more info, call the library at 467-3320.

Granby Public Library's Knitting Circle invites knitters and crocheters of all levels to join us during our Knit-Ins to be held on Nov. 16 and Dec. 7 from 10:30am to 3pm.

Drop in to knit a few rows on hats and scarves for our annual "Warm the Heart' hat and mitten drive. This is a chance for knitters to get together, socialize, share ideas and give back to the community. You are welcome to drop by and spend as little as five minutes or stay for the whole day. Every stitch made will be a great contribution. Patterns and yarn will be provided. Finished projects are also welcome.

All donations will be distributed to Sisters of Providence Health Systems. Refreshments will be available. The Knitting Circle also meets weekly on Wednesday mornings at 10:30. For more info, call the library at 467-3320.

Granby Public Library's Annual "Warm the Heart" hat and mitten drive will run this year Nov. 14 thru December 17.

Granby Public Library is looking for your help as we start our annual campaign. We are accepting donations of new or gently used hats, gloves, mittens and scarves.

In addition, this year we are also looking for new items such as teddy bears, games, puzzles, books, and small toys for distribution to the Sisters of Providence Health Systems.

Age range is from 4 to 18 years old. Help us to make this our most successful year yet. If you have questions, call 467-3320.
