| GRANBY The Granby Public Library will host a "Healing with Crystals and Gemstones" workshop Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. Many believe that crystals have the metaphysical power of healing. From the days of the legendary lost city of Atlantis, through the ancient Mayan and Hebrew civilizations, and including Native American cultures, crystals and gemstones have been used both in spiritual rituals and as aids to physical healing. Today the practice of using stones and crystals continues with ordinary people across the world that claim extraordinary results. Donna McArdle, a technology teacher from Springfield with an interest in healing with crystals, will lead the workshop. Learn how to select crystals, how to cleanse crystals and much more. Take home a packet to get you started. The Granby Library is located on Route 202 in Granby Center. This workshop requires no registration and is offered free of charge.
