SOUTH HADLEY Are you happy with your trash collection and would you be willing to pay more for it? Those questions are addressed in a survey sent out to all town residents and will be the subject of a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 30 in the Select Board meeting room at Town Hall.

Veronique Blanchard, the town's solid waste coordinator, told Reminder Publications she wanted to assess residents' satisfaction and opinions about curbside pick-ups.

The survey also asks if residents are willing to pay more for the service than the current $39 per person per household fee.

The following are the questions posed by the survey and to be discussed on Jan. 30:

Are you satisfied with the current biweekly collection of trash and recyclables?

If not, which of the following would you prefer?

Would you be willing to pay $44/person/household for biweekly trash and recycling for nine months, plus weekly trash and biweekly recycling for June, July and August?

Would you be willing to pay $48/person/household for biweekly trash and recycling for nine months, plus weekly trash and recycling for June, July and August?

Would you be willing to pay $59/person/household for weekly trash and biweekly recycling?

Would you be willing to pay $75/person/household for weekly trash and recycling?

Are you satisfied with the current hours of operation for the center?
