SPRINGFIELD -- In this photo, Dolores Sacco of Springfield is seen at the booth of Westfield Family and Sports Chiropractic with staff member Tay Silveira. Sacco was one of about 1,500 people who attended the annual event for seniors and Baby Boomers presented by the Jewish Community Center (JCC) and co-sponsored by Reminder Publications.

The expo conducted at the Basketball Hall of Fame featured suppliers of goods and services aimed at older residents of the Greater Springfield area.

Carlin Trietsch, the adult services director of the JCC, said not only was attendance greater than last year's event, but the number of exhibitors had increased as well. She attributed the greater turnout to increased optimism about the economy, but also to the fact many people in their fifties and sixties are seeking services for themselves as well as their parents.
