Bay Path students help out
Date: 8/28/2014
SPRINGFIELD – A crew of 22 students from
Bay Path University volunteered for a day at a
Rebuilding Together Springfield project at
90 Bowles St. in Springfield on Aug. 22.
The students undertook a variety of tasks to help improve the property from interior and exterior painting to yard work.
The house was given to Rebuilding Together Springfield as a gift from Chase Bank and a first-time homeowner will be the resident. Among the improvements made to the house with the help of the
YWCA of Western Massachusetts/
YouthBuild program are a new roof, a new gas heating system and kitchen and bathroom upgrades.
