The 3rd annual Lenten Art Show hosted by Church In The Acres is titled "The (un)Usual Suspects."

This year's exhibit featuring the work of CIVA artist Paula Wallace, brings the viewer into contact with the perspectives of key individuals from the crucifixion story.

Over 25 works of painting and poetry have been chosen by curator Stephanie Anderson to explore the relationship between Christ's crucifixion and the lives of everyday people. The show is open and free to the public. Donations are accepted.

Wallace is a graduate of the University of Iowa and has taken additional coursework in the arts while in Chicago and in Ireland. She is also a member of Christians in the Visual Arts and the Episcopal Church in the Visual Arts. She has been a curator for several small shows and has exhibited in the United States. Her work is held in private collections here and abroad.

Currently she maintains a studio at the Hot Shops Art Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
