news@thereminder.comSPRINGFIELD John Davitt the comptroller at Babson Capital Management LLC, presented the Springfield Boys & Girls Club with a donation of $25,000 to help underwrite the club's technology program.
The funding will specifically go to assist in the hiring of a part time technology instructor for the program, which currently serves more than 700 children.
According to Barbara Kolosowski, the club's director of Development, the program teaches the club members how to use various software. She called this kind of training "critical" for young people today.
Seen with Davitt is Diane Dunkerly, member of the club's board and Immediate Past Board President Stacy Magiera.
