Family concert series continues

WEST SPRINGFIELD The West Springfield Parks and Recreation Department continues to sponsor concerts throughout the summer during its 42nd Annual Family Concert Series.

The following is a list of upcoming concerts the * denotes the rain location (MSA=Middle School Auditorium; HSA = High School Auditorium; BGA=Boys and Girls Club Auditorium):

August 6 from 12:30 2 p.m. A Ray of Elvis, Town Common (34 Arts Festival) *MSA

August 6 from 7:30 9 p.m. Schumann and Carter Duo, Town Common. (34 Arts Festival) *MSA

August 7 from 3-4:30 p.m. British Band, Town Common (34 Arts Festival) *MSA

August 7 at 2 and 4 p.m. Mr. Slim Vaudeville, Town Common. *MSA

August 11 from 7:30 9 p.m. The Heritage Pops Orchestra, Landmark at Monastery Heights. *MSA

August 18 from 7:30 9 p.m. Cruisin' with the Crooners, Landmark at Monastery Heights. *MSA

August 25 from 7:30 9 p.m. Dan Kane and Friends, Landmark at Monastery Heights. *MSA

October 28 from 6:30 7:30 p.m. Halloween Party, Mittineague Park Rotary Pavilion.

December 1 from 6:30 7:30 p.m. Holiday Greetings, Elm Street Gazebo.

December 3 from 2 - 4 p.m. Sound of New England Chorus, High School Auditorium.

December 11 at 2 p.m. Santa arrives at Mittineague Park Santa's House.

December 27 from 3 4 p.m. Chanakkah Celebration, Town Common (Majestic Theater).
