WESTFIELD The Amelia Park Children's Museum (APCM) announces it recently elected four new officers to its current board membership of thirteen.

New board officers include President Doug Deleo, founder and CEO of NWS Communications and former president of the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club, Westfield; Vice President Molly Watson, a public relations consultant, Westfield; Treasurer James M. Tinker, a senior accountant with Downey, Sweeney, Fitzgerald & Co., P.C., Springfield; and Secretary Kathleen Sandman, a partner in the law offices of Connor, Sandman and Weisser, L.L.P., Agawam.

"I am exceptionally pleased to be part of a board comprised of such a committed group of individuals who bring a diverse and strong scope of capabilities to the table," Deleo said. "As we enter Phase II of our capital campaign, this is a group who will roll-up their collective sleeves and get the job done. We will continue to seek out individuals who are willing to help us accomplish our mission of expanding cultural education and experiences for children."

The museum board is presently wrapping up a community resource questionnaire aimed at understanding attitudes and perceptions about the museum and identifying a broad range of resources including time, talent and fiscal.

The results will enable the board to develop a strategic course for future planning and fund-raising for the capital campaign. Individuals interested in responding to the questionnaire should contact Doug Deleo at (413) 562-7081.

In addition to the officers, other board members include Brent Bean, Mark Dupuis, Christine Gezotis, Curt Gezotis, Dan Knapik, Barry Maloney, Lynanne Nyarady, Kerri Reed and John Rigby.
