WESTFIELD — Monster Frozen Yogurt, located in the Little River Plaza on East Main Street, celebrated its grand opening on Oct. 12.

The store offers 10 flavors of frozen yogurt at any given time, with the option to combine flavors into a "twist;" as well as an assortment of toppings and mix-ins too numerous to count.

However, there is more to the shop than its treats — it also offers a variety of beverages; free Wi-Fi, including two computers for public use; three over-sized flat screen TVs; and various seating options from booths to beanbag chairs.

"We sell the experience, not just the frozen yogurt," Marty Gaudrault, store manager, said. "There's no place like this for kids [in Westfield] where they can be safe, enjoy a treat, socialize and hang out."

The store hours are tentatively from 11 to 2 a.m., seven days a week.
